Independence Day is a significant event that brings our school community together at Yips. The morning assembly commenced with the flag’s soaring, accompanied by our heartfelt national anthem.

The day included inspiring speeches by the principal, educational competitions, and intriguing cultural performances (Sudhandhira Kummi). In order to emphasize social responsibility, faculty members and students participated in the programs together.

This celebration ignited patriotism, reminding us of our duty to contribute to our nation’s progress, leaving us inspired and proud to be part of this remarkable school.

“The Greatness of a Culture can be found in its Festivals”
Pongal / Makara Sankranti is a festival day in the Hindu Calendar, in reference to
the deity Surya (Sun). It is observed each year in January. It marks the first day of
Sun’s transit into the Makara(Capricorn).Being a festival that celebrates the Solar
Cycle, it usually falls on the same Gregorian date every year. The festival is
celebrated across the country, with a distinct regional essence even though the
forms are different but the purpose remains the same, marking the onset of the
spring season.
The Students of Young India Public School celebrated Pongal on January 13, 2023. 
They had an amazing time marking the Pongal festivities, before they broke off for
their Pongal vacations. Smartly dressed in colourful ethnic wear, perform various
kinds of activities during pongal festival. It gives a good opportunity to children in
collecting information about pongal festival. In school, pongal was made by
cooking rice in an earthen port at the court yard at stove made of bricks. When
the milk starts boiling and over flows people shout “pongal o-pongal”. Chakara
Pongal’ was distributed to the Students, Teachers and Support Staff. The entire
campus wore a festive look with colourful Rangoli, decorated Pongal pots,
sugarcanes and other decorations enhancing the festival sprit. The celebration
began with a Prayer, followed by a message, which reminded the children about
the importance of the harvest festival. Various indigenous games that included
Muruku Kadithal, Rangoli competition, Pot breaking. Students enjoyed the day
with fun and frolic manner.

Young India Public School located at Ichipatti near Palladam, Tirupur district, celebrated its 10th year Annual Day on Thursday (09-02-2023) at 4.00 pm in the school premises with the lighting of the lamp.

School Management Trustee Dr.M.N Ponnusamy, School secretary Dr.T.Sivashanmukam and  Principal Mr.K.Annamalai and other school trustee members took the lead.

The familiar Advocate, motivational speaker and recipient of the President’s Award for Women in Scouting, Ms. K.Sumathi was the chief guest.

She delivered a speech on the topic “Win yourself”. In that speech she gave many examples like the life events of the athlete “Milkha Singh” which was very inspiring thought. School Principal Mr. K. Annamalai gave the welcome address.

School annual report was presented by Mrs. Nijilabanu, Vice Principal of the school.

In this ceremony, the school vice-principals Mrs. Nijila Bhanu and Mrs. Sasikala were given special certificates. Prizes and Champions trophies were awarded to students who won various competitions.

Followed the students performance. Kindergarten to class 10 all the students participated in the annual day celebration. The vice principal admin, Mrs. Sasikala delivered the vote of thanks. The programme ended with the National Anthem.

Time: From 27.09.2022 -6am to 29.09.2023 -9am

An educational tour was organized by our school after the Term I Examination from 23rd September to 28th September 2022. A meeting was organized to explain the sightseeing of the trip. A detailed itinerary of the visit was shared with the parents and students. Another meeting was held to explain the willing students about the do’s and don’ts during the trip and the documents to carry for the trip. Teachers meeting were conducted where the teachers and students ratio was decided. A teacher: 4 students were fixed.

On the day of Trip students reached school at sharp 05:30 AM. From there all 65 students and teachers in two vans started to Coimbatore Airport. After breakfast at sharp 9:00 AM, boarded the flight (Indigo Airlines). Students thoroughly enjoyed the flight journey. Reached sharply at 12:30 PM, reached Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport. After lunch Enroute sightseeing the Supreme Court, Parliament and India Gate, started to Akshardham temple where students enjoyed the water show at 9:30 PM and reached the hotel. Day 1 ended happily.

Our day 2 started with the visit of Birla Mandhir. After that students had an excellent experience at the Indira Gandhi Museum.

After lunch at Tamilnadu Illam Delhi, students were taken to Lotus Temple.

Day 2’s last visit was Mathura (Krishna Janmasthaan). After the visit, stayed  at Agra.

Day 3 started with the visit to Tajmahal. Students admired the majestic beauty of Tajmahal. To add in their memoirs students took a number of photos in the premises of Taj Mahal.

Students were taken to Agra Fort where a guide explained the stories behind the Fort. After lunch students were taken to Fatehpur Sikri where they admired Buland Darwaza, the highest gateway in the world. After the visit students were taken to Jaipur hotel and had an excellent sleep.

Day 4 started at Jantar Mantar. It consists of 13 architectural astronomy instruments. The site is one of five built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, revising the calendar and astronomical tables. Students were explained about the working of each instrument.

After the visit of Jantar Mantar students were taken to City Palace. Later students were taken to purchase.

Day 5 students started their day at Qutub Minar. Then students enjoyed their visit to Raj Ghat.

Finally, students boarded the flight at 01:50 AM and reached Coimbatore Airport at 09:00 AM in the morning. This trip was enjoyed by the students and teachers a lot. Came back with sweet memories.

Sports is something which build our physical and mental strength. Sports day is a day which we get for expressing our joy and skill. It is a moment when we relax from stress.

This hilarious occasion was celebrated enthusiastically in young India public school on 7th January 2023 Saturday first time. In the history of Young India Public School the Olympic torch rally was started from Samalapuram Choleswara temple to school.  It was ignited by our respected secretary sir Dr .T.Sivashanmukam. This delightful journey was started by our school pupil leader Master Vikas and Miss yalini of great X and successfully handed over to our school sports captain master Deepak Kumar and Miss Ashwitha of  grade 9 brought to school campus.  With open hands and hearts , we welcomed the district commissioner of scout and guides and chief guest the center of attraction the most respected Srinithi Abirami , the international medalist . She was the inspiration of the day . She excelled in 18 sports and specialized rifle shooting.

Our band boys welcomed the guest with the price.

Our Tricolour is  hoisted by our chief guest,  the Olympic flag was hoisted by our beloved secretary sir, our school flag hoisted by our chairman sir and finally the scout and guides flag is hoisted by our guest of honor.

March past was exhibited with extraordinary teamwork.

The Olympic torch was carried by our sports captains, vice captains and house captains of Michael Faraday, Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin.

The oath was taken by our march past students and the chief guest declared the sports meet open and pigeons were left to freeze in the sky.

Our beloved Principal Shri K . Annamalai delivered the welcome address.  Our district commissioner of scout and guides congratulated the way the school has brought pride for scouts and guides.

The annual sports meet was delivered by our PET master Mr.L.Yesuraj.

The tradition of Tamil Nadu was expressed by our twinkling stars grade 2 kids. Our school 1st  and 2nd students performed majestic and sweet clap performances. The rain was welcomed by our little 3rd and 4th students through umbrella dance. The Human Pyramid formed by grade 5 students was the talk of the town on the day. The sparkling and energetic performance of aerobics was given by great 6 to grade 9 students.

The students showcase their talents through yoga, silambam and karate. Our school athletics showcase a fantastic relay and 200 m final with true sportsmanship. To recognise the kids’ challenge they were certified by our Principal. March troop was awarded and individual championships award was given class wise two- boys and girls.Our Chief Guest Miss. Srimathi Abirami  Delivered an inspiring and motivational speech. All the games were conducted  housewise. All the house students had put their efforts to make their team  a victorious one.

Among the four houses Michael Faraday won the overall championship which was honored by our respected chief guest. Sports meet was dispersed by a great enthusiasm.

The School health programme enables children to be healthy. A free dental and eye check-up were organised at Young India Public School, Ichipatti, Tiruppur. The program started at 10.00 a.m with the introductory speech given by our respected Principal Shri.K.Annamalai and Dr.T.Sivashanmugam, Secretary. Dr. A Navamani, dentist Malar Dental Hospital, Somanur; the Ophthalmologist Dr. Varsha and the Camp Manager Mr. Saravanakumar from Eye Foundation carried out a comprehensive Dental and Eye check-up. Around 500 students were screened and got benefitted out the programme. On completion of the medical check-up, each student was given a health card, a report summary of the diagnosed problem and recommended for further treatment if required.
