On 10 April 2022 Sunday, our school celebrated its Inauguration of the New Academic Year 2022-2023 programme. For this special day, Shri. Kaliyamurthy IPS was the chief guest. Parents of all the students were also invited on this day. Our school campus was decorated with lights and flowers. The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp at the hands of Shri. Kaliyamurthy, IPS. Simultaneously, Smt. Manonmani Sivashanmukam, Trustee of Young India Noble Foundation, Shri. K.Annamalai, Principal, Young India Public School, Kumari. Monisha and Kumari. Rithanika of grade 10  also lit the lamp.

After the lighting Jyoti, Welcome address was presented by Master M. Varun of Grade 9. Students of Grade 10 Kumari Sadhana and Yalini Varna welcome the Guest and Principal with a bouquet of flowers.

Shri. Palaniswamy, Chairman of Young India Public School gave a presidential address for the audience.

Followed by that Award Ceremony. The award ceremony was held amidst much joy, cheer and applause as the beaming students from nursery to grade 9 received their Awards. Broad Spectrum and Perfect Attendance Awards. Students were awarded at the hands of Shri. Kaliyamurthy, IPS.

Following that  keynote address delivered by Shri. M N. Ponnuswamy, Managing Trustee, Young India Noble Foundation.

Most awaited moment of the day was the speech of our chief guest, Shri. Kaliyamurthy IPS, on “Yenname Vazhvu”. That was  really a thought provoking speech.

 The Annual report was presented by the Vice Principal of Young India Public School, Smt. Nijilabanu A.  Principal introduction was done by Shri. Sivashanmukam T, Secretary of Young India Public School. Followed by that the Principal address was delivered by Shri. K. Annamalai, Principal, Young India Public School.

Last but not least, our students’ cultural programme. One by one, the students of grade 8 to 10 performed various programmes.

Finally, Kumari. Yalini Varna of grade 10, delivered the Vote of thanks. Our Chairman came on stage and thanked everyone, especially Shri. Kaliyamurthy, IPS, Our Principal Shri. K. Annamalai, teachers , students and parents for the successful completion of the “Inauguration of the New Academic year 2022-2023”.

International Women’s Day Celebration Week

We, at Young India Public School, observed the International Women’s Day 2022 with full of fun. Celebration began with a beautiful lighting ceremony by our Guests of Honor . There were various competitions held, namely the Mom and Me Contest, Flame less cooking and Flower carpet making. Apart from the competition, many games were also conducted namely, ‘Hold the Fire’, ‘Balloon Bursting games’ and ‘Seppuka Senthamizh’, etc…All the prize winners were greeted by the audience.  Everyone enjoyed The International Women’s Day Celebration.

YIPS Republic Day 2022

Our school celebrated India’s 73rd Republic Day with great eclat. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity, virtually. The programme began at 08:00am.

Our honourable Secretary hoisted the National flag, the students and faculty members saluted the National flag and pledged to uphold honour and integrity.

Teachers and students sang the patriotic Tamil flag song. Ms.Rathika took up the duty of gracing the day by her compering. Welcome address was delivered by Raha Varshini of Grade VI. Her speech urged all the students to do their best and feel proud to be an Indian.

The students brought the feeling of patriotism with their passion and love of the motherland through the character portrayal of Freedom fighters which reverberated the patriotic favor in everyone’s heart . Finally a vote of thanks was proposed by Mithra of Grade VII. The celebration came to an end by singing the National anthem.

The celebration ended with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their mind and heart. May we continue celebrating this day forever!

Time: 10: 30 a.m to 2:00 p.m

  To bring out the inbuilt talents of the young Indians, The Science Fair was organized and conducted on 26th February, 2022 in the school premises. The students from grades I to IX devotedly took part to show up their scientific knowledge. It started around 10:30 a.m. and lasted till 2:00 p.m. The Secretary sir and the Vice Principal mam witnessed all the models and cheered the students for their efforts taken amidst the pandemic situation. All other students were actively examined the models and quenched their thirst for technology.

 

          We, heartily thank The Management, The Secretary sir, The Principal mam and the Vice principal mam for creating the ground for the students to showcase their talents.

Christmas Celebration at our school was organized on 24th December this year. A crib was made by the teachers was really very beautiful.

One could easily notice the excitement of Christmas in the students’ eyes. All students were assembled in the atrium for the programs. There were a variety of performances, the best being the Santa dance performed by GVIII students. Students enjoyed the day and finallly students and teachers wished each other Merry Christmas
